KEY ACTIONS
GLOBAL ONLINE PLATFORM
American Friends of Francophone Culture Inc supports this essential resource for lovers of the French language and Francophone culture, it brings together all network's 370+ authors and makes their works accessible worldwide through its online bookstore. Driven by over 80 contributors, the platform offers articles, interviews as well as literary and societal contributions.
A significant number of member authors state that this international network has helped them find their place, find the courage to advocate for their literary work, connect with other authors who are true sources of inspiration, and become part of this unique "francophone family" that supports them in their creative and development efforts.
These authors also thank the network's patrons and honorary members for supporting its global mission, thereby supporting their work and enhancing their journey as authors throughout the world.
In 2025, a v2 of the platform will launch with an amplified mission to provide visibility to the many "invisible" talents who exist worldwide, particularly authors from Africa. Featuring a space dedicated to promoting international francophone literature, the platform will provide these authors with the unique opportunity to be read all across the globe.
It will also offer young readers, who may not always have the means to afford to buy books, to gain access to a rich and diverse international collection. All thanks to a simple click.
FRANCOPHONE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS
American Friends of Francophone Culture Inc supports the organization of Francophone cultural festivals around the world, giving visitors the opportunity to meet and engage with authors from the RDAF network, giving lectures in schools and offering books...
These events are much more than simple literary gatherings: they incorporate an educational and civic dimension, with workshops, discussions, and initiatives for all audiences to contribute to education, promote tolerance and inclusivity.
The Festivals serve as a bridge between continents, connecting America with Francophone countries around the world.
Volunteers from all around the world, ambassadors at heart, and dedicated supporters of the project make these gatherings profoundly meaningful and unforgettable.
These are citizen-driven, socially responsible impactful events that deserve - and need - greater support.
WORKING WITH SCHOOLS AND YOUTH
Every author participating in the events is committed to engaging in school workshops with young American citizens eager to reconnect with or discover Francophone cultures.
Beyond the cultural contribution, these authors serve as passionate messengers for literature, highlighting the importance of books and reading as a vehicle for social success as well as a means to transform the destinies of young individuals.
The authors in the network love to inspire and pass on their knowledge to younger generations.
The network is also developing a book donation program for underprivileged neighborhoods and countries where books remain financially inaccessible.
By participating in these Festivals, "emerging" authors benefit from a differentiated and positive image with their audiences, even their usual ones. They gain recognition, are invited, and highlighted. The magic of this unique network works in many ways.
